Job Opening: Environmental Planning Project Manager

Location: Sacramento, California

Salary: $80,000- $90,000/year base DOE plus full benefits and performance bonuses

Thriving employee owned multi-disciplinary civil engineering, planning, and construction services consultant in operation nationally for upwards of 50 years actively seeks Environmental Planning Project Manager to join our award winning and local Sacramento office.

Ideal & qualified Environmental Planning Project Manager will posses a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Urban & Regional Planning, or a related field, 10+ years of experience in the preparation of CEQA and/or NEPA compliant environmental documents, and excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Qualified candidates should possess a proficient knowledge of CEQA or NEPA.

Successfully hired Environmental Planning Project Manager to support the Environmental Planning Department and manage and produce CEQA documents for a variety of projects types, including general and specific plans, and urban landfill, mixed-use, residential, commercial and industrial projects. Responsibilities include preparation of initial studies, negative declarations, mitigated negative declarations and EIRs, project organization, quality assurance review of documents, proposal preparation, and marketing. The Manager will also provide coordination of multidisciplinary consulting services terms and subcontractors and public outreach and presentations to jurisdictional entities.
